Endesa will extend the wind farm Canela.

In recent days, the company Endesa, who is the main electricity company in Chile, announced the expansion of the wind farm Cinnamon, the first of its kind in the country, which is located 500 kilometres to the north of Santiago.

For this project is referred that the wind farm obtains a power of 60 MW with what they will generate annually about 160 GW per hour.

The relevance of the project lies in the fact that this initiative, named Canela II will add 40 turbines to the actual existing 11, this expansion will be made by Accion Wind Power to the provision of necessary equipment and wind turbines, and this information was announced by the Endesa energy.

So finally, it was announced through a press release issued by Endesa that investment in the expansion will be 141 million dollars.
