Iberdrola continues constructing a 100MW wind farm in Oaxaca

Iberdrola is constructing a wind energy farm in Oaxaca with an investment of $100 million dollars, which will be ready in 2010 to produce about 100 MW. They relate to the fields in Oaxaca as the best ones in the world, a potential that Mexico has wasted too long.

The project, located in the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, is the first private sector's in Mexico to produce electricity through the wind, that adds to the global EDS Energy Nouvelles which will invest about 300 million pesos to service customers like "Wal-Mart," quoted the representative of the Economic Mission of the Embassy of France.
