Wind Farm in Alto Baguales will be expanded

The energy company Edelaysen from Chile, who belongs to the SAES group, is planning to launch an expansion to the wind farm in Alto Baguales, which includes the addition of 2 new turbines by next year.

The purpose of this project is to balance the electricity demand to avoid unpleasant long-term situations. It is planned that each turbine installed generates approximately 660KW, which would stand for 1700 KW more.

The leader announced that the study for the project is already ongoing, and they consider that the sector Alto Baguales will be already in sequence by the year 2009, where there are already some turbines; the development will require an investment of nearly $ 4 million dollars.
