MEXICO: Installation of new rolled rings manufacturer for wind industry.

In the state of Nuevo Leon FRISA Group will install a new factory, a company dedicated to the Forging and Ring Rolling for the wind industry. The construction will have an investment of USD$ 250 million; this was announced by the head of safety and environment department of the company.

Currently, the project is at the stage of the structure, and is expected to start producing in July 2009. The new factory requires staff to production processes similar to those the company already runs at the plant in Santa Catarina.

To be 100% completed, the plant will have 700 employees and 500 indirect jobs. The machinery will arrive next October and its installation will take months, so it is expected to begin manufacturing the rings in next July.
