ARGENTINA: Investment of $ 10.6 million dollars in renewable energy.

On September 4 it was confirmed that the company ENERGY DEVELOPMENT ARGENTINA LIMITED (EDALE RE, Inc.) has signed a contract with the U.S. Company HELIX WIND Inc., for the purchase of small wind turbines.

The contract provides for the purchase of at least 1500 units within three months. It is worth mentioning that EDALE is a leading developer of distributed generation solutions for mobile communications towers in remote areas and in regions with unreliable energy supplies, as well as applications for irrigation and pumping liquids. The company plans to aim at targets markets in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Chile, Brazil, Aruba and the Antilles.

The flexibility of the HELIX platform makes it ideal for a diverse range of applications, from power generation distributed outside the network to pump water for irrigation and consumption; factors that contributed to the decision to purchase with the U.S. Company.
