ARGENTINA; It will be installed a wind farm with private investment.

Recently, it was announced that the company Vestas of Denmark will invest 50 million Euros for the construction of a wind farm that will be able to provide of 50 MW to the National Interconnected System (NIS); it will count with 14 turbines and will be installed in the region of Necochea.

The Project already has the approval of the municipality, and this company will sell energy to the country. The company already has a site, in which they are installing a wind measuring sensor that certificates that this is the right place; the land was hired by the Commune.

The wind farm that pretends to be installed in Necochea will be similar to the ones that are already working in Arenas Verdes and Punta Nerga, in Las Grutas.

It was told that there are currently two alternative energy projects that are in full development and design stage.

All this information was provided by the alderman of Necochea: Daniel Molina in an interview with diariohoy.net
