ARGENTINE; Minister plans to expand the wind farm of Arauco.

In recent days, the minister of infrastructure of the provincial government announced that it planned to send the proposed expansion of Arauco wind farm to the German Ministry of Environment, with the aim of getting it evaluated after visiting the wind farm of Waldow, in Germany.

This visit was organized by the government for 15 ministers of Argentine provinces. They met with officials and technicians from the Ministry of Environment of the government of Germany by visiting the wind farm Waldow, looking forward to observe the functioning of different methodologies of renewables generation.

At this meeting, the German authorities explained the policy that the German government is developing for renewable energy, mentioning its primacy in the generation of wind power. Therefore, the Argentine government seeks, with the projects of the Rioja and Patagonia, to enter designs that include technical assistance and access to financing through the member states of the European Union and its banks.

It should be noted that the European Union is visiting Latin American countries like Mexico and Costa Rica to introduce wind power in its energy matrix, a situation that motivates the government of Argentina to enter these programs with their projects of La Rioja and Patagonia.
