INTERNATIONAL; The potential of wind energy is huge.

On November 3rd, the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) and Greenpeace International issued the report that was referred to as "the Global Wind Energy 2008". This document refers that wind power could generate 12% of world demand energy, causing a saving of 10 billion tons of carbon dioxide.

In this way, the document announced that by the year 2020 wind power could save up to 1.5 billion tons of CO2 per year, and work well with the 30% of the world's electricity by the middle of this century.
