Chain Supply Opportunities for Latin America

The supply chain for construction and operation of wind farms in LATAM has grown in importance with the increasing number of developments popping up in the entire region. Different and new players have been called to this activity due to the rising demand of this market; the lack of local experiences, high costs, necessary skills absence and chronic infrastructure deficits presents challenges and opportunities requiring new skills, contacts and experience  to accomplish the set up of this projects.

 
     
 

Objectives:

- To met actual and new products and services offers oriented to satisfy the demand of the emerging projects in the region.

- To Design strategies for achieving the national integration marks taking advantage of the local opportunities those marks bring.

- To foresee the challenges in logistics to appear at some locations and to contact the right people to work on them.

- To understand the support and incentives mechanisms developed by different levels of the governments for impel the local suppliers.
